Will Glen Eira fine Brumby??!!

Today’s Herald Sun (http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,22871808-2862,00.html) and last night’s ABC news feature John Brumby visiting the victorious ‘kids in the park’ and joyfully kicking a footy around the ground with these children. The question thus becomes - will Glen Eira ‘fun police’ now fine the Premier for breaking the latest council mandate as proclaimed in December’s Glen Eira News that even ‘casual games’ of soccer or football are to be banned in all passive areas - and one presumes, footy ovals! After all, the grass must be protected!

Mr Brumby hopefully is banging heads behind closed doors telling Councillors how bl*** stupid they’ve made local government looks with draconian rules and regulations!
